2022 Plein Air Photos

Thank you to the participants of the 2022 Plein Air Painting Contest, as well as to everyone who attended the judging, the judges themselves, and those who assisted with the entire process. A special thank you to the West Liberty Public Library for hosting.

Quick Paint award—$150.00 During the judging, the artists did a small “Quick Paint” while they were waiting for the results of the Plein Air Competition to be decided by the judges. Carlos Maldonado judged and offered the award for this category.

After the competition: Artists had an opportunity to display their work in Brick Street Gallery for the month of October. People in the community were invited to come to the gallery and vote on their favorite picture. At the end of the month a gallery prize of $100.00 awarded to the artist receiving the most votes from those viewing work at the gallery. The paintings were also for sale during that month. Painting selected by viewers at Brick Street Gallery—$100.00
